Developex engineered firmware for several generations of marine audio players, enabling them to handle diverse input sources such as Bluetooth, FM/AM radio, USB, and satellite radio. The firmware also ensured reliable communication through the NMEA 2000 protocol, allowing the devices to be controlled by external marine displays and other onboard equipment.
A dedicated gateway unit was designed and implemented, providing a web-based management interface for systems that lacked built-in media players. This allowed users to access device controls from computers and supported multifunction displays, expanding usability in various setups.
